Tapping into my inner goddess… Because BLACK WOMEN WERE & STILL ARE GODDESSES!
(via blackfashion)
hi, my name is juliette. i’m a 21 year old trans girl. i don’t really post many personal things on my blog so this is a little difficult for me… but i’m in a really tough situation. i’m at my breaking point, honestly. these past few months have been very stressful… to say the least. and i’m trying really hard to better myself but being around so much negative energy makes me feel so stagnant and depressed. currently, i’m living w my abusive father. i honestly don’t know how long this living situation will last or how much more i can take. my father is completely unsupportive of my transition and of me, financially. i work at a slightly above minimum wage part time job and between paying rent and providing food for myself there isn’t much room for me to save. although, i’m saving as much as i can. i had to stop taking hormones bc i just can’t afford them rn and i’ve been feeling so dysphoric. i don’t know where else to turn, honestly. i’m trying my hardest but it just isn’t enough. i’m just asking for this post to be spread and if any of you could possibly donate. it’s really hard out here and i would appreciate it so much. i just want to be able to get back on hormones and move out asap.

A Different World, 1991
But what’s crazy is that it’s really not a different world at all. Many of us are still dealing with the same problems our parents dealt with over twenty years ago. And this is why we still need shows like this; because they really spoke the truth.
This is fact!!
Happy Blackout Day!!!!
